C’est magnifique…

bri_blog1.jpg
…if we do say so ourselves.! This redesign for Bilingual Recruiters Inc. has been a pleasure from start to finish.

More than just bringing a contemporary look-and-feel on top of standards-savvy xhtml, we created some templates so the staff at Bilingual Recruiters Inc. can update the site themselves.

There’s a little AJAX sprinkled here and there, and be sure to checkout the table sort options on the Career Opportunities page, available simply by clicking on the headers. These are thanks to some brilliant javascript by the good folks kryogenix.org. There’s quite a number of cool little touches throughout the site–and as usual, it’s a bag of semantic goodness.

Again, here was a client that provided timely content, great design guidance and was a pleasure to work with. Maybe that’s why the site ended up looking so good!

I’m glad you liked sorttable! Lovely work on the redesign.

  2. MOXY Says:

Like is the understatement of the year, Sil. I particularly enjoyed the way you described the genesis of the project:

“Resubmit the page? Just to sort data we already have? I’m sure we can do better than that.”

Well, you certainly did do better than that. Thanks for sharing it, and I’ll continue to publicize it among my colleagues. It’s a lovely bit of code.

And thank you for the compliment on the redesign!

  3. Vincent Tulk Says:

I have to admit that I am completely impressed with how the website turned out as well, and it has far surpassed my original expectations.

We continually receive compliments on the revamp and of course I only take part of the credit. :)

Jesse was a complete joy to work with and I sincerely look forward to working together in the future!

    Ditto on this end, Vincent.

For those visitors reading this thread, it’s of some interest to note that Vincent and I have never actually met in person. As with all of MOXY’s work, we were introduced to Bilingual Recruiters via referral.

Everything–from concept to completion–was done electronically, even though we’re both in the same city.

Thanks again for such a positive experience!
